GeneRulor BLT DNA Library Preparation Kit
1. Product Introduction
GeneRulor Bead-Linked Transposome (BLT) is a high-efficiency tool for DNA library construction in next-generation sequencing. The GeneRulor BLT DNA Library Preparation Kit can provide comprehensive genomic coverage for sequencing of large complex genomes, small genomes/plasmids, amplicons, Gram-positive/negative bacteria, fungi, as well as a variety of plant and animal species. Bead-Linked Transposome refers to magnetic beads conjugated with transposomes. Through mixing and incubation with DNA, DNA fragmentation is achieved, and adaptors are added to the ends of the fragmented DNA simultaneously. PCR amplification is then performed using sequencing adaptor primers to obtain libraries for high-throughput sequencing. This simple one-step tagging reaction greatly simplifies the experimental process, shortens working time and reduces costs, and is widely applied in DNA sequencing library construction technology.

2. Application
(1) Application in Whole-Genome Sequencing (WGS): The GeneRulor BLT DNA Library Preparation Kit offers a rapid and flexible library preparation workflow, applicable to a variety of sample types from humans to microorganisms. In human genome sequencing, even with an initial DNA input as low as 100 pg, a genomic coverage of over 98% can be achieved, ensuring the accuracy of variant detection.
(2) Analysis of micro or poor-quality DNA samples: It is particularly suitable for micro or severely degraded DNA samples such as those used in forensic analysis, ancient DNA research and FFPE tissue samples.
(3) Detection of low-abundance pathogenic microbial genomes: Relying on high sensitivity to microDNA, it can detect low-abundance pathogenic microorganisms from complex backgrounds (such as blood or tissue samples), supporting early infection diagnosis or occult infection research. The detection sensitivity reaches 0.01% microbial content in the sample.
(4) High-throughput large-scale sample detection: The convenience of magnetic bead separation and the simplified library construction workflow make GeneRulor particularly suitable for processing large-scale sample pools to meet the needs of high-throughput sequencing. In a 96-well plate format, a single operator can complete library preparation for 192 samples within one working day.
