Founded in 2019 and headquartered in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, Zhuhai, GeneRulor is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the research, development, and application of gene-editing technologies. Our core team has been deeply engaged in the gene-editing field for over 15 years, having experienced the complete development and iteration of three generations of technologies: ZFNs, TALENs, and CRISPR. Building upon this profound technical expertise, we have established a comprehensive technology system encompassing the development of gene-editing tools, safety assessment, and technical services. Currently, GeneRulor has established R&D and operation centers in Zhuhai, Wuhan, and Hangzhou. Equipped with GMP-compliant R&D laboratories and manufacturing facilities, as well as a postdoctoral research station, we are committed to continuously driving technological innovation and industrial translation.
Core Capabilities
Safety Assessment
We provide end-to-end safety assessment solutions in compliance with global regulatory requirements from CDE, FDA, EMA and other major authorities. Services include off-target detection, chromosomal stability analysis, vector integration site analysis and genome integrity evaluation. Our testing reports are recognized by regulators worldwide, supporting clients in IND applications and providing reliable safety data for the clinical translation of gene therapy products.
Novel Gene Editing Tool
We have built a systematic CRISPR screening and optimization platform. Our proprietary FrCas9 and other novel editors feature high efficiency and specificity. Research results have been published in Nature Communications, with core technologies patented worldwide.
Microbial Engineering
With our proprietary high-efficiency gene-editing tools, we deliver precise genome engineering for industrial/agricultural microbes, synthetic biology and phage therapy, covering mainstream chassis strains and full-spectrum strain optimization services.
Molecular Diagnosis
Based on liquid-phase capture probe synthesis technology, GeneRulor provides high-quality molecular diagnostic raw materials, including Human Cot-1 DNA, streptavidin magnetic beads, and Tn5 transposase, serving the broader fields of genetic testing and precision medicine.
