Qualifications & Requirements:
I. Basic Qualifications
1. Education: Master’s degree or above in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Genetics, Pharmacy, or related disciplines. Candidates with study-abroad experience at renowned European universities (Master's or Ph.D. level) or those currently based in Europe are highly preferred.
2. Language Skills: Native-level or highly proficient in English (excellent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing), capable of conducting seamless business negotiations and cross-cultural communication. Proficiency in other major European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) is a strong plus.
3. Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries. A proven track record of market expansion in gene editing, gene therapy, or biological safety assessment is highly advantageous. Exceptional fresh Master's or Ph.D. graduates with relevant research projects or internship experience will also be considered.
II. Professional Competencies
1. Technical Expertise: Solid foundational knowledge in the field of gene editing. Deeply familiar with the technical principles, industry standards, and application scenarios of gene editing safety assessments. Possess the ability to swiftly comprehend clients' technical requirements and seamlessly map them to the company's service solutions.
2. Regulatory Acumen: Strong understanding of European biotech industry policies, regulations, and market access guidelines, with a specific focus on the regulatory landscape surrounding gene editing technologies to ensure strict compliance across all business operations.
3. Commercial Awareness: Acute market insight and strong business acumen. Capable of accurately identifying emerging market opportunities, formulating highly effective go-to-market strategies, and driving rigorous execution.
4. Execution & Negotiation: Outstanding business negotiation, cross-functional communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to independently manage the full BD lifecycle, including new client acquisition, requirements gathering, and complex contract negotiations.
